Everyone who sews knows that life isn't full of perfectly aligned seams and straight hems. Seam rippers, scissors, and safety pins help us through our sewing problems. There are also those times when we don't sew much at all! Sad times for those of us who have loads of fabric and ideas just waiting to be implemented. Sometimes it's necessary to focus on family, school, housework, etc. over our sewing though.
That said, here I am. Who am I? What do I do? I am Laura, and I do lots of things. I am a part-time everything. Okay, so everything might be exaggerating a bit. My part-time duties include: chef, seamstress (thus this blog), farm hand, laundress, gardener, musician, bibliophile, latte-lover, blogger, and movie-watcher. My full-time duties include, but are not limited to: Christian, wife, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, and friend.
